Montrose, Colorado is located southeast of Grand Junction, nestled between Uncompahgre National Forest, Rio Grande National Forest, and White River National Forest. The town is relatively small, with a population of 19,132 as of the 2010 census. The primary road that passes through Montrose is US Highway 50, and US Highway 550.
